Biography

Merging two distinct creative perspectives, directing duo Marco+Maria bring a modern, unconventional vision to the world of fashion film.
With Marco’s background in music and Maria’s roots in fashion, their collaboration is a balance of artistry and precision.
Though they first met in high school, their journey as a directing duo took shape in 2013.
It was during their time in New York that they truly evolved as directors, transitioning from handling every aspect of production themselves to leading crews. Sharing sets with industry icons like Carine Roitfeld and Karl Lagerfeld, as well as working alongside celebrities and top models such as Kanye West, Gigi and Bella Hadid, Mariacarla Boscono, Adriana Lima, The Weeknd and Kim Kardashian among the others helped refine their creative voice.
Now based in their hometown Milan, they work across Europe and directed campaigns for some of the world’s most prestigious brands.
While fashion and beauty remain at their core, their portfolio also extended into hospitality and advertising.
Their signature style is defined by elegance and simplicity, crafting subtle yet impactful storytelling through refined composition and use of color palettes.
